The founding director of Sundara Airbrush Tanning, Santiago, is a former sun-worshipper who became fascinated by the technology of sunless tanning in 2002. After several years of researching the technique and developing his own proprietary solutions, Santiago opened the first Sundara salon in early 2005. Two years later, the salon expanded to its own state-of- the-art storefront in midtown Manhattan that is the first of its kind engineered from the ground up to maximize the airbrush tanning experience.
